Momma's Boys

Here's the first picture of Angela and I with our boys. Ang is holding our squirmy little man while I held 3 day old Jack while he was sleeping. Hard to believe it was just 6 weeks ago that Chase was that size, or even a bit smaller. How quickly they change!!!

Chase is a very alert and active baby who seems to look and act much older than his age, or so we have been told. He started smiling last week when he was just about 5 weeks old. He loves to be told what a big boy he is and is especially happy in the morning. He is a very hungry baby and eats every 2.5 or 3 hours - never misses a meal! He has trouble falling asleep on his own but quickly relaxes when nursing, in the car or walking in the Bjorn. He doesn't have control over his arms quite yet although he seems to like to punch Daddy and pull his chest hairs out. He LOVES to be held, especially when you pat or rub his back/butt. He is a very loud sleeper with his snores, grunts, farts and moans filling the room. He typically makes one or two very explosive poops each day - many of which require a bath to get him clean. We are finally starting to get back into our regular routine with him, with yesterday being our first long walk as a family. Chase has been to many restaurants, the mall and of course a few trips to Target, Costco and Trader Joe's.
